Hours: Full time, M – F 9 am to 5 pm; some evenings, weekends and holidays
Salary: Equivalent to $30,000 to $32,000 annually (DOE) + Flexible benefits

Summary: Reviews and audits billing, recovery plans and progress notes for team members for accuracy on a daily basis, checks for consistency of codes, dates and times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. This is not an exhaustive task list, and other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate or necessary by the supervisor or program director. - Reviews and audits billing, recovery plans and progress notes for team members for accuracy on a daily basis, checks for consistency of codes, dates and times.
- Tracks billing (what is turned in and what is outstanding) on a weekly basis. Audits charts as necessary.
- Files progress notes, assessments, correspondence and intakes paperwork on a daily basis.
- Tracks clinical coordinated paperwork and ensures its consistency with cycle date and services. Coordinates distribution and completion of all outcome measures.
- Depending upon work location and needs of the supervisor and worksite, may perform light clerical and/or administrative tasks, including but not limited to: typing, filing, faxing, photocopying, preparing mailings, distribution of incoming mail, performing clerical research, answering phones, backing-up receptionist, running light job-related errands, preparing meeting rooms, maintaining equipment inventories, and/or other similar tasks if needed in support of program and administrative functioning.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings and other aspects of the day-to-day operations and community life of the program site
- Works cooperatively with other staff to assure the smooth and seamless delivery of comprehensive administrative services to the Agency and its members.
- Complete all documentation and maintain all paperwork and other required documentation as required for program compliance and accountability in accordance with MHA standards and funding source requirements.

Other Position Requirements:
- Must function well in a team-oriented approach to member services.
- Accurate typing of no less than 35 wpm.
- Must have an AA/AS degree and one year LAC DMH or medical records experience. High School diploma and two years LAC DMH or medical records experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Flexible work schedule to include some evenings or weekends, and on call cell phone services when necessary.
- Driving with current class C driver’s license, proof of valid automobile insurance, and the ability to be ensured by MHA liability insurance are conditions of employment.
- Must be thoroughly familiar with computers, and have demonstrated expertise in data entry functions.
- Must possess a very high degree of accuracy in data entry, and be able to research, review, reconcile, correct and produce system data and report data.
